On April 17 VVA had the pleasure of welcoming prospective students and their parents along with all staff to an open house at our new school facility. More than 40 people were present to see a student-prepared a program that included a play called “Rumplestilsken”, a recitation of all of the presidents of the US, a science experiment, a short play in French, and a Tae Kwon Do demonstration. Matthew Miller, the Managing Director of Virunga Valley Enterprises Ltd, the company overseeing the launch of VVA, and Murphy Crowson, the Operations Director, also gave presentations highlighting the vision of VVA and sharing our Charter Family Scholarship program.
We were very pleased with the attendance at the open house and the taste it gave of the school community that we are building in Musanze.
